SAM RICKETTS wants more of the same after experiencing a "fantastic atmosphere" at his first league game as Wrexham manager at The Racecourse.
Nearly 5,800 fans saw Wrexham draw 0-0 at home AFC Fylde on Tuesday night
Ricketts is hoping for the same level of support and volume for tomorrow's home game with Boreham Wood.
"It wasn't just a case of turning up and sitting in your seats, they turned up and created a fantastic atmosphere," said Ricketts.
"That is the biggest thing, and that is what we are going to need.
"Night games kind of do that and I am looking forward to seeing the atmosphere on a Saturday.
"The atmosphere is what drives a team and certainly the supporters made a fantastic atmosphere.
"It was everything what this club is and we are trying to give that back to the supporters to encourage them to keep coming."
Ricketts wants supporters to feel entertained and he felt Wrexham delivered in midweek following a thrilling goalless draw.
"It was an amazing following and that is what this club has," added Ricketts.
"It has a fantastic fanbase and the idea is that they come to support the team and when they do, we need to give them a performance that they enjoy watching.
"I am sure, certainly the second half performance, the fans went away encouraged with what they saw and hopefully entertained as well. It was just lacking that goal."
