Mold badminton player Tom Sudder has enjoyed a memorable campaign with success in both regional and national competitions.
The season's highlight for the Mold Alun sixth-form student was winning the under-19 Badminton Wales National Singles Championship title.
Playing at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff, Sudder defeated Dafydd Price 18/21, 21/16 and 21/11 with a superb display in the final.
In the same Championships he finished as runner-up in the under-19 mixed doubles final when partnered by fellow Mold player Lily Hird.
The Sudder/Hird pairing excelled in regional fixtures and went undefeated last season in the North East Wales Badminton Senior League.
Also at senior level, Sudder featured for the North East Wales Badminton Association team, playing singles and mixed doubles matches in the Badminton England Inter-County League.
Sudder narrowly missed out on a final place in the Badminton Wales Senior Gold Tournament at Deeside Leisure Centre, losing his semi-final to eventual winner Syed Masood.
