North Wales Crusaders have secured the return of Earl Hurst for the remainder of the League One season.

Hurst left the Wrexham-based side at the end of the 2017 campaign to test himself with Championship outfit Rochdale Hornets.

But Hurst has decided to head back to Crusaders on-loan with his first appearance likely to be in Sunday's home clash against York City Knights.

North Wales Crusaders CEO Andy Moulsdale said: “Earl is a great addition to the squad as well look to fight for a top-half finish.

“He knows the majority of lads and also what Crusaders is all about so he’ll take not time to fit back in.”

Hurst is the club's second signing in the last week after former Keighley, Whitehaven and Swinton man Samir Tahraoui agreed a deal until the end of the season.
