BRYMBO produced a last-over victory to beat Gresford in their Premier Division derby.

Gresford posted 190 for nine and Brymbo reached 192 for eight with just two balls remaining.

Gareth Boys was 14 not out at the end after taking 4-28 as Gresford set a decent target.

Matt Cree top scored with 52 and Chris Ellwood added 39.

Openers Gareth Pugh (30) and James Claybrook (29) gave Brymbo a good start before Mohamed Jayman's 54 helped them towards their winning score. Ellwood did his bit to stop Brymbo's run-chase with an outstanding 6-35.

Connah’s Quay had no problems as they beat Mochdre by 33 runs. Tom Hooson (37), Darren Jones (36) and Ryan Hollway (33) pushed the Quay to 183 all out.

Holloway, Lee Davies and Brendan Bezuidenhout then took two wickets each to reduce Mochdre to 150 for seven.

Chirk’s struggles continued as they lost out on the Duckworth/Lewis revised run-rate rule against Denbigh, who replied with 125 for four to Chirk’s 146 all out.

Nathan Aldridge was Chirk’s best player, top scoring with 27 before taking two wickets. But 48 from Tom Scrimshaw and Harrison Jones’ 47 won it for Denbigh.

Bangor are 14 points clear at the top after Llandudno were skittled out for 146 chasing the leaders’ 202 for eight.

Menai Bridge remain second after they eased to 82 for three after bowling out Llanrwst for 78.

Northop lead the way in Division One and are 15 points clear of second-placed Pwllheli after they also won on the revised target rule at Llay Welfare.

Nathan Humphreys hit 32 in Llay’s 152 with Mark Poynton taking 3-33.

Ben Beaver, Matthew Willams and Gareth Williams all hit 24 as Northop made it to 138 for five.

The best innings of the day came from Pwllheli’s Jason Underwood, who blasted an 89-ball 158 not out that included 16 fours and nine sixes against rock-bottom Carmel.

Pwllheli blasted an incredible 368 for three before Carmel crumbled to 75 all out.

There was a low-scoring thriller at Dolgellau, who were bowled out for 61 by Abergele. The visitors only just got home, replying with 64 for eight.

Bersham beat Mold by 34 runs. Rishan Fernando (56) and Lakshan Wijeskera’s unbeaten 46 helped Bersham put 232 on the board.

Tom North took 3-35 and then addded 31 to go with George Deniz’s 68 but Mold were stuck on 198 for seven at the close.

Pontblyddyn were comfortable seven wicket winners against Conwy, who were dismissed for 115. James Birch took 4-18 and Kevin Owen 3-16 before Chris Myles (57 not out) and Ben Mason (48) led Pont to 119 for three.

Gwersullt Park thrashed Bethesda by 119 runs.

Lewis Cole's unbeaten 50 plus 33 from Jake James helped Park post 242 for six.

James then landed 3-36 and Neil Green 3-18 as Bethesda were wiped out for 123.
