CHESTER retained their 12 point at the top of the league table in style.
Wes Baynes put Chester 1-0 up after just 80 seconds with a superbly struck free kick that arrowed its way into the top right corner of the net.
Antoni Sarcevic doubled the Blues lead in the 19th minute when he rifled a first time shot from Baynes' free kick through a crowded penalty area to find the target from 25 yards.
And Marc Williams extended Chester's lead in the 36th minute with a lob over Droylsden keeper Dale Latham after meeting a pass from Sarcevic.
Ben Mills headed Chester 4-0 up in the 64th minute from a Baynes cross that was parried by visiting keeper Dale Latham.
Craig Curran made it 5-0 in the 76th minute with a fine finish after a neat build up between Marc Williams and substitute Nathan Jarman.
