BRYMBO have managed to stay up but it was a close run thing after they lost their final game of the Premier Division season at St Asaph.

St Asaph may have coasted it by eight wickets but the batting bonus points for Brymbo were enough to edge three points ahead of Bangor, who will join already relegated Llay Welfare in Division One next season.

It took a brilliant 95 from Greg King to help Brymbo to 206 for six declared.

Ben Roberts added 38 before Grove Ventor cut loose with a majestic unbeaten 142 for the Saints.

Llandudno are the champions of the North Wales League once again.

Connah's Quay endd Llandudno's dominance 12 months ago but it was business as usal as The Seasiders' 140 run massacre of Mold saw them pip second-placed Menai Bridge by 17 points.

Duncan Midgeley was the star of the show hitting 172 in Llandudno's 296 for four.

Mold were then skittled out for 156.

That meant Menai Bridge's last day 94 run win over Denbigh was all in vain.

Llay ended their one season stay in the top flight wih a narrow 26 run defeat at home to Bangor.

Bangor posted 208 for five, Dave Phennah taking 2-61 while Llay looked on course for victory after openers Mike Paletia and John Lloyd hit 49 and 50 respectively.

Unfortnately they had no back up and were bowled out for 182.

Pontblyddyn captain Mark Neath produced the goods in a low-scoring three wickets win over Northop.

Neath took 5-20 as Northop crumbled to 91. Marcel Franzel and Glenn Chambers took two wickets each as Northop skipper Chris Brookes hit the highest score of the match with 28.

Pont struggled to reach their target, Neath hitting a much-needed 26 to take them to 95 for seven as Darren Williams took 4-20.

Connah’s Quay almost made it a fantastic run flourish against Mochdre.

Mochdre put 277 for eight on the board and the Quay got as close as 266 for eight in their 60 over stint at the crease.

Jason Biddulph was again the top scorer as Hawarden Park celebrated winning the Division One title in style.

They beat Pontblyddyn Seconds by five wickets after bowling them out for 102.

Edward Jones top scored with 33 as Craig Wilson ripped through their batting line-up, taking 6-11.

Biddulph smashed 65 as Park reached 103-5 off 17 overs despite the best efforts of Ranjith Appuhamy (3-40).

Marchwiel Wrexham are relegated after they lost by 62 runs to Llanrwst, who will join Hawarden in the top flight next season.

Jonathan Phillips produced a match-winning performance for Chirk in their two wicket win over Menai Bridge Seconds.

He took 6-37 to reduce Bridge to 146 and then top scored with 52 to edge Chirk to 148 for eight. Billy Swarbrick's knock of 48 was also crucial to Chirk's success.

Halkyn  were impressive six wicket winners over Conwy, who posted 204 for four.

Corey Walters took 2-32 and hit 43 not out to go with an cracking unbeaten 70 from Duane Williams.

Gresford finished with a 96 run victory against Bangor Seconds.
