A Flintshire pub is closed until further notice after a fire.
Three crews from Wrexham Fire Station were called to the Cross Keys in Llanfynydd at about 10.40am on Sunday.
Firefighters, four of them wearing breathing apparatus, used three hose reel jets to put out the blaze.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the fire caused serious damage to the kitchen, with smoke damage to the rest of the building. The spokesman added that a fire in an electric meter, caused by a fault in the fuse box, spread to the roof of an extension to the building.
A post on the pub’s Facebook page said: “The Cross Keys is closed until further notice owing to a fire incident. We will keep you updated.
“No-one was in the building and no-one is harmed.”
