STAFF were left shaken and upset after a masked armed man demanded money from the till.
North Wales Police launched an appeal for information after a man entered McColl's in High Street, Bagillt, at about 9.50pm yesterday in possession of a 'bladed article'.
He demanded the cashier hand over the contents of the till before fleeing from the scene with the money, a police spokesman said.
The man was described as six-foot tall wearing a balaclava, navy hooded top and dark jogging pants.
A police spokesman said: "Nobody was hurt but staff were left shaken and upset.
