A CARER has admitted engaging in sexual activity with a woman with a mental disorder on the basis of kissing.

Ryan Linden Williams, 29, denied two other charges dating back to August and September of 2016, alleged to have occurred in the Mold area, which involved fondling and penetration.

He was cleared of those charges by a jury at Mold Crown Court.

Judge Rhys Rowlands bailed him pending sentence but he indicated a community penalty was appropriate.

Oliver King, defending, said his client admitted the two charges involving kissing on the basis that she had kissed him and he had allowed it to happen.

β€œHe should have pushed her away but he allowed it to linger,” he said.

The court heard Williams, of Hendre, Cynwyd, near Corwen, had been dismissed from his post.

He was ordered to register with the police as a sex offender pending sentence.
