Four men alleged by the prosecution to be members of an organised crime group have been remanded in custody.
Flintshire Magistrates Court at Mold was told the arrests followed a North Wales Police operation at the end of last week and at the weekend.
The investigation relates to thefts of vehicles, thefts from vehicles alleged to have amounted to more than £25,000, and false identifications and number plates being used.
Applications for bail by all four defendants, who appeared in court separately, were refused by magistrates at the Mold court.
Bradley Smith, 20, of Bagworth, Leicester; Cyrus Tebbutt, 20, of Upper Temple Court, Leicester; Nathan Boswell, of New Barns Avenue, Ely, Cambridgeshire and Christopher Casey, 20, of Thurcaston Road in Leicester, were all remanded in custody pending a plea hearing at Mold Crown Court next month.
The defendants are also charged with the theft of a BMW X5 on March 7 at Leicester and two charges of theft on March 8 at Bryn Yorkin in Caergwrle involving a leaf blower, power tools, clothing and a laptop.
