Plas Coch pub in Wrexham
Plans are in the pipeline seeking to build a hotel next door to a town centre pub.
Marston’s has applied to Wrexham Council to build a 24 bedroom hotel next to the Plas Coch hotel the brewery also owns on the retail park of the same name.
Should the proposal get the go-ahead, three jobs would be created, two part-time and one full-time role, and the number of parking spaces available would increase from 80 to 95.
The lodge would be situated in the garden area of the existing pub.
Wrexham Council’s planning committee will discuss the application at a future date.
