Witnesses sought after burglaries in Flintshire

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a spate of burglaries and attempted burglaries in Flintshire.

Detectives are investigating two attempted break-ins on Wared Drive and St Mary’s Drive, Northop Hall, and a successful burglary in Broadoak Avenue, Broughton, on Wednesday.

Witnesses in Northop Hall said they saw two people in the area between 9.30pm and 10pm, but it is unknown whether they were involved. Call PC Victoria Matthias on 0845 607 1002 with information.

    I find it hard to believe that the website of a newspaper would put a story up with the headline spelt incorrectly! You're meant to be journalists, how disgraceful! I think you'll find the word you're looking for is SOUGHT.
