Wrexham medics make mad Santa dash for charity

A GROUP of medics are putting down their scalpels and donning their Father Christmas costumes for a dash around Mold.

The staff from Wrexham Maelor hospital’s pathology laboratory will be running three kilometres through the town centre to raise funds for Nightingale House Hospice.

Everybody is welcome to take part – it’s £10 for adults, £5 for children and £25 for families.

“We hope that this will give everyone in Wrexham and the surrounding villages an opportunity to support their local hospice while having some festive fun,” said Wendy Gibson, fundraising manager.

Santa suits are provided, plus medals and a hot chocolate drink.

I wonder why they are running in Mold and not Alyn waters which has the Santa run the same day? Has that one been cancelled, anyone know?
