RESIDENTS in a Flintshire village are being urged to have their say on flooding risks in their area.
Environment Agency Wales will be holding a public exhibition at Sandycroft Community Centre, on Thursday, where options for reducing flooding in Flintshire will be unveiled.
The agency is looking at ways to reduce flood risk from the Broughton Brook and Pentre Drains, particularly in the area between Manor Lane, Sandycroft and Pentre.
Alyn and Deeside MP Mark Tami is urging as many householders as possible to go along.
He said: “A number of possible options to reduce the risk of flooding have been identified and the Environment Agency would like to hear the views of residents.
“This will help the agency choose an option to develop into a scheme that can be built.
“Over the years many people have approached me with concerns over flooding in Pentre and Sandycroft, so this is an ideal opportunity for residents and businesses to look at the plans.
“If anyone has any videos or photos of flooding incidents they would do well to take them along and share them with the Environment Agency.”
The exhibition will run from 2pm until 8pm.
