THE winner of a £58,000 National Lottery prize which had gone unclaimed in Flintshire has come forward.
The lucky winner had remained a mystery since the draw on June 17, but has now gone to officials to claim the money.
The ticket-holder had just six more weeks to claim their £58,981 prize before it was given to good causes.
A spokesman for the National Lottery said: “We’re delighted the winner of this prize has come forward and we hope they will enjoy their win. It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out.”
