A ‘MASTERPLAN’ is being produced for a popular tourist destination in Flintshire.
It is hoped the plan will set out the development of the coastal area around Talacre and Gronant for years to come.
Rural regeneration agency Cadwyn Clwyd, in partnership with Flintshire Council, has commissioned Hyder Consulting and Arwel Jones Associates for the scheme.
Developers say the plan which has been partly funded by the EU Rural Development Plan for Wales and the Welsh Assembly Government, will be essential in ensuring the area is developed in a way that will benefit residents, businesses and the visitors.
A drop-in session allowing members of the public to have their say is being held at Talacre Community Centre from 2pm-8pm on Monday, November 2.
Project manager Owen Davies said: “We want to work with the local community to identify a broad and achievable vision for the area.
“We need to ensure the masterplan is practical and can lead to positive, recognisable change.
“The views and ideas of residents are important. They will help to ensure this masterplan succeeds.”
