Booze Buster on the rocks as administrators called to North Wales stores

A NUMBER of off-licences across North Wales were shut after a drinks firm called in the administrators.

A number of Booze Buster stores owned by North West of England-based Wine Cellar were closed yesterday, including premises in Llay and Mold.

Wine Cellar refused to comment on the move, referring enquiries to administrators Deloitte.

A sign on the premises in Llay confirmed that, as of yesterday’s date, Deloitte LLP had been appointed administrators.

However, another branch, in Ruabon, remained open for business, with a worker there confirming there were no plans to close.

At the time of going to press, no-one from Deloitte could confirm how many stores have been closed.
