Central Station appearance for Jools Holland singer

A SINGER who has shared the stage with acts as diverse as Scissor Sisters and Van Morrison comes to Wrexham Central Station at the end of the month.

Imelda May was asked to appear on Jools Holland’s Later show on the BBC after wowing the pianist and former member of Squeeze at a live performance.

The prestigious Irish World Newspaper Awards crowned Imelda 2008’s Best Female Newcomer and she performs at Central Station on Monday, September 28.
