A TOWN centre McColl's store has transformed into a new Morrisons Daily in Flintshire.

The new Morrisons store opened to the public om Friday, April 26 and was welcomed to the town by Councillor Teresa Carberry, Mayor of Mold, who carried out its official opening.

The new store, situated at 18 High Street, is filled with the daily essentials.

A supermarket spokesperson said: "The new Morrisons Daily fresh food convenience store will offer customers a carefully tailored mix of Morrisons own brand products alongside branded favourites.

The Leader:

"As well as new ranges, the store has received a complete redesign internally and externally incorporating Morrisons bright, modern branding. Fresh food is at the heart of the store and we hope customers will love it. "

Morrisons bought all 132 McColl's UK stores in 2022, most of which are gradually turning into Morrisons Daily shops.

Cllr Carberry, said: "It was an absolute pleasure to be invited to officially open the new Morrison’s Daily on our High Street, and meet up with Geraint, my former student and Hayley.

"The shop looks amazing, and the variety of stock it sells is incredible. I think the staff are going to be extremely busy at this very useful and handy addition to our retail offerings in Mold! I shall certainly be popping in!"
