A NON-profit organisation in North Wales is encouraging people to 'walk and talk' in order to combat stress.

The 'Mind' charity based in North East Wales is working with local communities for better mental health and wellbeing.

Across Wrexham and Flintshire, the charity aims to support people through a range of fundraising events and general activities.

The 'Walk and Talk' groups started by the charity take place across the county with the latest event being held in Deeside, Flintshire.

Meeting at the Cafe/Information Centre at Wepre Park, the sessions will take place from 1pm until 3pm on Thursdays.

Dogs are also welcome providing they are well-behaved and kept on a lead at all times.

Anyone can join the group for a 3.4km easy walk at your own pace, taking approximately one hour to complete.

Spending time in green space or bringing nature into your everyday life can benefit both your mental and physical wellbeing, including exercising outdoors.
