HUMPHREY KER hasn't ruled out another promotion parade around the city but it could all depend on what League Two leaders Stockport County do tonight.

More than 40,000 supporters took to the streets of Wrexham 11 months ago after the club celebrated the Reds' National League title campaign and the women's side promotion to Wales' elite league.

Saturday's scenes of glory at The STóK Cae Ras have prompted fans to call for another bus parade whether Wrexham have silverware to show off or not.

"I can see why fans would want another parade. Last year’s was a very special occasion" said Reds' director Ker, who joined in the on-the field pitch celebrations as the Reds clinched back-to-back promotions in Saturday's 6-0 thrashing of Forest Green Rovers.

"You'd want to have a trophy to show off so, fingers crossed, Stockport will drop points and we'll still be in with a shout of the title going to Crewe on Saturday."

Ker was aboard one of the coaches alongside celebrity owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynold in last year's parade, admitting the sight of so many fans joining in the celebration brought tears to his eyes.

A win for Stockport at Notts County tonight will secure them the league title.

After Saturday's trip to Crewe, Wrexham's last game of the season is at home against Stockport on April 27.
