THE MAYOR of Wrexham visits popular takeaway business following successful relocation to former butchers hut.
The real American-style takeaway business 'Jack Yard BBQ' is highly praised by customers far and wide.
Last year, owner Jack Coeshott made the decision to relocate from a food shed located in the Sun Inn carpark, Rhos, to the former Stanley Butchers Hut on Hall Street.
The aim of the relocation was to continue growing and expanding the much-loved business which has come on leaps and bounds in recent months.
Following the grand opening on March 15, the 28-year-old has been rushed off of his feet serving loyal and new customers.
Yesterday (March 21) he received a very special visit from the Mayor of Wrexham Andy Williams himself who was thoroughly impressed with what Jack had achieved.
Jack said: "Thanks to the help of the local councilor Eddie Roberts who got in touch with the mayor to come and open the shop.
"Unfortunately he was not available on open week but wanted to come and see the shop and have some food on Thursday.
"I would like to thank all the customers for supporting our small business. We had a few teething problems Friday night the first day of opening the shop but they have quickly been ironed out and I have loved every night since.
"I would also like to thank my dad, family and friends for working hard to make this happen and make the shop a success."
As a qualified chef, Jack Yard BBQ offers smoked brisket, pork, chicken wings, spicy sausage, ribs and mixed-up specials every week.

Just a few days after its reopening, Jack has admitted the "demand has trebled" meaning most days it has become a first come first serve basis.
Not only does he offer a delicious menu with all the BBQ classics, but Jack ensures all of his ingredients are locally and freshly sourced.
