TO CELEBRATE National Chip Week, we've put together a list of the best chip shops in Wrexham and Flintshire. 

National Chip Week takes place during the last full week of February and to recognise that we had a look on Tripadvisor to see what the current top recommendations are for the perfect chippy tea in your area.

WREXHAM

1. Wrexham Fish Bar - Coming in first place is Wrexham Fish Bar situated on Egerton Street. It boasts a 4.5/5 star rating from 92 reviews.

2. Jones's Fish & Chip Shop - Next up is Jones's, found on St. Georges Crescent. The popular chippy also has a 4.5/5 rating from 100 reviews.

3. Borras Park Fish Shop - Borras chippy is another highly rated fish and chip shop in Wrexham, boasting a 4/5 star rating from 72 reviews.

4. Gwersyllt Fish Bar - Based on the retail park in Gwersyllt, the popular chippy has received a four-star rating from 37 reviews. 

FLINTSHIRE

1. The Master Fryer - The Queensferry chippy is the highest rated in Flintshire and the first five-star rating on the list, from its 100 reviews.

2. Wes Edwards Traditional Fish & Chips - Based in Mold, the popular fish and chip shop boasts a 4.5/5 star rating from 21 reviews.

3. Wong Kwok Fish & Chips -  Another highly rated chippy, based in Flint, Wong Kwok has a 4.5/5 rating from 67 reviews.
