A NEW fitness centre is 'coming soon' to Wrexham's Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre.

A UK-based fitness chain 'Foundry Gym' has announced plans on Facebook to open a branch in Wrexham over the upcoming months.

There is already speculation as to which unit the gym will occupy as the shopping centre was in advanced discussions with a prominent leisure recreation tenant to occupy the top floor of the former Debenhams store in November 2023.

Established in 2013, the 24-hour gym currently has several branches across the UK and is described as the 'best place to boost strength, cardio and confidence'.

It is also set to open branches in Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Leicester, Derby, Kent, Blackpool, Nottingham and Coventry.

The announcement was shared on Facebook and stated the business would be coming very soon to an undisclosed unit in Wrexham Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre.
