A Wrexham band has raised over £2,000 for a Flintshire based animal rescue through a charity concert in memory of their beloved friend.
The band The Hit Parade, is made up of popular Wrexham musician Luke Gallagher, along with Steve Jones, Mike Revill, Tom Barnes, Dale Lloyd and Stuart Wojdyta.
The band got it's name after the Paul Weller album that is an encapsulation of all three eras of his career.

The charity concert took place on Saturday April 1, at Brymbo sports and social complex playing the music of The Jam, The Style Council and Paul Weller.
The event was organised in memory of Luke's dear friend Terry “Tekka” Bailey who sadly passed away in 2021.
Terry was an avid fan of his icon Paul Weller and regularly wore his favourite t-shirt with the singers face on it.
The event raised a total of £2,071 for Jackson's animal rescue, a charity that was chosen by the Bailey family due to Terry's love of animals.

Carol Williams, Terry’s sister, said: “This night wouldn’t have been possible with out luke and we really couldn’t have thought of a better way to remember Terry massive thank you to everyone that supported this night.”
