A MAIN road in Flintshire was closed this morning due to a vehicle fire.
The incident occurred on the A5104 between Pontblyddyn and the Padeswood turn off.
Traffic reports state that the road was closed in both directions between The Bridge Inn and Padeswood Lake Road as a result of the vehicle fire until about 10am.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 8.37am to a small vehicle fire – one appliance attended.
"Crew called in stop on resources at 9.58am and vehicle removed from roadway by crew. Crew used one set of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and thermal imaging camera. Police also attended."
