More than 12,000 people gathered to see the pop music sensation Olly Murs at The Racecourse

Saturday night proved just how much of an incredible performer Olly Murs truly is.

Thousands of families, friends and couples travelled to Wrexham on what was a beautiful sunny day.

Louisa Johnson was the first on stage to warm up the crowds with a mix of covers and her own songs.

Her voice amazed audience members and showed, along with Olly, the talent that TV programmes like The X Factor produce.

Everyone looked ecstatic to see the frontman return to North Wales with a show filled with energy, and some even had a sneak preview watching him do some hilarious back stage dancing to warm up.

He sang some of his big hits including Dance With Me Tonight and Heart Skips a Beat which saw people of all ages screaming with delight.

The 33-year-old wowed the crowd with a mash up of some ’90s classics towards the end of the show before his encore of hits including Years & Years showed off his vocals.

The singer-songwriter’s energy was infectious and people across the stadium danced the night away to some feel good tunes.
