Mold theatre group to perform at prestigious Royal Albert Hall

Staff reporter (Leader Live)

A theatre group in Mold will perform at one of the world’s most prestigious venues.

Pupils from Theatretrain’s school of performing arts will be travelling to London to perform at The Royal Albert Hall.

Theatretrain operates across the UK, teaching skills in dancing, acting and singing to children between the ages of six and 18.

This year is the company’s 25th birthday so to celebrate, children from all over the UK will be performing in a special performance at The Royal Albert Hall in September.

Known as ‘the company that loves to perform’ the group has held a competition for their students to design the logo for the T-shirt that will be worn by the 1,400-plus children taking part.

The competition was won by Ellis Duckworth, 14, from Mynydd Isa.
