A grandfather of three has been picked from more than 18,000 entrants to win a luxury caravan.
Roy Probert, of Flint, managed to scoop a new Swift Lifestyle 4 caravan worth £17,000 as well as £1,000 of Leisureshopdirectvouchers and a year’s worth of free insurance.
The prize draw was created by Towergate, a provider of static and touring caravan insurance.
The 58-year-old welder said: “I am so thrilled to have won this caravan, thanks to Towergate.
”I’ve been caravanning with my wife since the mid-80s and my children, who now have their own children, continue the family tradition.”
Mr Probert’s new caravan was unveiled to him at his home on Friday.
His neighbours, wife Rose and daughter Rachel Parry, along with grandchildren Abbie, Amber and Vinnie Parry were there to celebrate the prize draw win.
Adam Summersby, who works for Towergate, said: “Huge congratulations to the Probert family. We are delighted to be able to give Mr Probert’s hobby a new lease of life.”
