A 48-YEAR-OLD woman has died in Wrexham after suffering a head injury. North Wales Police started an investigation into the incident on Friday July 8 and have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. The woman, of Oak Alyn Court, Cefn y Bedd, was admitted to Wrexham Maelor Hospital on Friday morning but later died. No details about what happened have been released by the police. A neighbour, who did not wish to be named, said the incident is “absolutely tragic”. “When my husband went to work at around 8am yesterday morning, there wasn’t a single police car around - but when I left the house, at about 10am, four police cars were parked outside the house,” she said. “When I got home that afternoon, forensics and detectives were going in and out of the house. “I just can’t believe it - they’re my neighbours, it’s absolutely tragic.” The coroner has been informed.
