Bikini model stops traffic with her Ice Bucket Challenge on the Horseshoe Pass

A NORTH Wales model stopped traffic when she did the Ice Bucket Challenge outside a popular Horseshoe Pass cafe wearing a bikini.

Donna Rhian, of Brynteg, near Wrexham, was taking part in a photoshoot near the Ponderosa Cafe, near Llangollen, with photographers David Craig and Tez Todd when she decided to do the Ice Bucket Challenge. She had been nominated by her aunt, Wendy Evans.

Donna, aged 32, said: “It was done outside Ponderosa on the Horseshoe Pass at Llangollen, which is about 1300ft above sea level. I decided to do it there as I arranged a last minute shoot with David Craig and Tez Todd and knowing just how cold it gets up there once the sun goes down it would be the ideal place to do it.

I thought the colder the better!”

There were a few people driving by and some people stopped outside - probably wondering what a woman In her bikini was doing up there with two men!

When I'm set a challenge for a good cause like ALS I like to do something a little bit different and daring. I think it then encourages other people to as well and therefore keeps it going to raise as much awareness and money as possible.
