HUNDREDS of people turned out for a community summer fair on Saturday.
Residents flocked to the Brymbo Enterprise Centre in Blast Road where there was a host of entertainment on offer throughout the day.
A wide range of attractions and entertainment at the fair, which ran from 11am to 3pm, was enjoyed by all.
There were community stalls and amusements for children, including a visit from children’s favourite characters In the Night Garden characters, Iggle Piggle and Upsy Daisy.
There were fairground rides and a bouncy castle, as well as fake glitter tattoos and a face-painting stall.
Refreshments, including a barbecue, were on offer.
Brymbo councillor Paul Rodgers said the day was a success.
“The fair was very well attended. I think there were about 500 people in attendance throughout the day.
“There were lots of activities for children and families.
“it was a fantastic event arranged by the enterprise centre for the community.”
Cllr Rodgers also said an open day for the heritage group also took place on the day, which was also well supported.
