THE popular Well Inn Music Festival will return to Holywell next month.
The town centre celebration will take place on saturday, September 6, providing a wide range of music across three different stages, showcasing a great mix of local talent.
The free music event starts from 11am, and goes on until 7.30pm.
The Well Inn Music Festival, entering its fourth year, has been organised under the umbrella of Holywell Town Partnership, led by a small group of councillors and officers from Holywell Town Council, Flintshire Council and Holywell Communities First, along with a small band of volunteers.
The main stage will again be located in Tower Gardens, and plays host to a range of local bands performing their own songs or well known covers.
There will also be stages located in Victoria Square and outside the old town hall with a variety of music on offer.
Music will play throughout the day, and there will also be a host of fairground rides and craft stalls.
Martin Fearnley, Holywell’s community support officer who is involved in organising the event, has said it is great to see the Well Inn Festival, as well as other events returning to the town each year.
“It is great to see these annual events again in the town,” he said.
“It is important to provide a varied programme of events aimed at encouraging the community of Holywell to come together and celebrate what we have got to offer in the town, and to also encourage visitors to come along.
“We want to increase footfall into the town centre, encourage people to visit and to pop into our local shops and experience a party atmosphere.
“Thanks to all the other people who have been involved in helping put these events together and we hope to do more in the future.
“Anyone else in the community or local businesses who would like to become more involved in developing the town and events then please get in touch.”
Anyone wanting to contact Mr Fearnley can do so by calling Holywell Town council on 01352 711 757.
