MOTORISTS faced the prospect of traffic chaos after downed power lines caused the closure of two major routes.
The A494 and A550 were closed in both directions after electricity power lines came down close to the M56.
North Wales Police tweeted that motorists could expect delays of up to one and a half hours.
Scottish Power were sent to the scene to fix the problem.
The roads were reopened at around 4pm.
