Woman cut from car after collision with lorry in Deeside

A WOMAN had to be cut from her car after a collision with a lorry.

The motorist, in her 40s, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after the collision on Deeside Industrial Park.

Fire crews from Flint and Deeside, and a techincal rescue unit from Wrexham attended the incident.

A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.14am today, Tuesday, July 1, to reports of a road traffic collision on Drome Road on Deeside Industrial Park.

“A crew in an emergency ambulance attended, and a woman in her 40s with non-life threatening injuries was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.”
