A MAN arrested in connection with alleged shootings on the Cheshire/Flintshire border has been released.
Detectives have been interviewing a 63-year-old man local to the Kinnerton area who was arrested in Mold on Monday.
The man has now been released on police bail and has been told to report back to police officers in June.
Meanwhile, enquiries are continuing into the manhunt which involved both an armed response in Chester city centre and lanes in the Kinnerton Road area being cordoned off.
The arrest followed a firearm being discharged on farmland in Kinnerton where electrical engineering apprentice George Campbell, 16, and two friends aged 16 to 18 had been fishing in a pond with the permission of neighbour Jean Pleavin-Adge.
