A STREET brawl in Deeside filmed and uploaded onto YouTube was viewed thousands of times in only a few days.
The violent gang of up to 20 people were seen kicking and punching each other during the two videos, while others looked on and laughed.
The films were titled Big Trouble in Little Deeside part one and part two.
The shocking footage has now been removed from the video sharing site – but not before the two films had received almost 9,000 views between them.
The various attacks took place on Sunday on Fron Road in Connah’s Quay right outside homes of families - some with young children.
One resident, a mother who had her seven-year-old daughter in the house, said there is “at least one fight on the street every week”.
She said had to keep her daughter away from witnessing the violence.
“It is getting ridiculous now,” she said.
“It is concerning. My daughter doesn’t like anyone arguing, so if she saw that she would be really worried.
“I know a few residents have called the police in the past about fighting.”
Another resident, who has lived on the street for more than 30 years, said it has been an “ongoing problem” in the area for years.
Police said they had two calls reporting disorder on Fron Road on Sunday. When they attended the people involved had left the area, officers said.
Inspector Ceri Hawe said: “This seems to be an isolated incident. If residents have concerns,
“I’d urge them to contact police at the time of the incident or incidents.
“We take a robust approach in relation to the management of people in and around licenced premises.
“That is why we encourage individuals to report matters to police when they are happening.”
Connah’s Quay councillor Paul Shotton said he was pleased the videos had been taken down.
