The A5 is  still blocked between Chirk and Llangollen in both direction s.
Crews were also called to Lambourne Court in Gwersyllt at 6.50am and Hightown Road, Wrexham, at 7.47am to pump away floodwater.
At 7am, there was also flooding reported in First Avenue in Llay due to heavy rain.

Natural Resources Wales have also issued a flood alert for the village of Pontblyddyn.

Parts of the village along the A541 adjacent to the river have so far been affected with drivers forced to slow down due to the increasing levels of surface water.

A statement issued by Natural Resources Wales, formerly known as the Environment Agency, at 7.30am read: "River levels at Pontblyddyn are rising and are expected to do so for the next four hours.

"In addition, some localised flooding problems may result from surface water."
