Wrexham returned to action following a three week break by beating Hayes and Yeading United 4-1 at The Racecourse.

The result was never in doubt after the opening goal arrived on 16 minutes.

Mark Creighton picked out player boss Andy Morrell who fed Jake Speight and the striker was able to fire past keeper Carl Pentney from the edge of the area.

There was no let up from Wrexham who doubled their lead one minute before the break.

Adrian Cieslewicz's cross was parried by goalkeeper Pentney and Mark Creighton converted from close range.

Wrexham went on to make it 3-0 after 58 minutes when Joe Clarke played a short corner to Jay Harris and the midfielder found the net from 25 yards.

It was one way traffic and the fourth goal came on 74 minutes, Speight's shot was saved by Pentney and substitute Mathias Pogba converted from close range.

Wrexham were denied a clean sheet when the visitors scored two minutes from time.

Substiute Julian Owusu's shot was spilled by keeper Joslain Mayebi and Michael Thallssatis was on hand to convert.
