Police launch probe into Chirk's 'kinky' dungeon

POLICE have launched a probe after residents complained about a dominatrix-style dungeon thought to be operating near two schools.

Fears about the dungeon, which offers clients the services of a “mistress” providing a range of domination services without any sexual contact, were raised through social networking site Facebook.

Soon after the Leader began to make inquiries about the dungeon, thought to be in Chirk, one of the websites associated with it was no longer accessible and carried the message: “Dungeon rental is no longer available”.

One of its websites – now unavailable – said it is “based on the outskirts of Wrexham and easily accessible from the A483 and A5 and local train station” in a “discrete, tree-lined location”.

The site also said: “You can book the dungeon for anywhere from an hour, a day, to a weekend.

“You can use the dungeon facilities uninterrupted, or if you desire a mistress can be on hand if you require assistance.

“Rental is £40 per hour for the first two hours, reducing to £30 per hour thereafter.”

Concerned parents say they believe the premises are actually in Chirk, close to both the village’s infant and primary schools.

One mother, who has a child at each of the schools but did not wish to be named, said: “The place has been mentioned on Facebook over the weekend and there has been a lot of concern about it among the parents.

“What is very worrying is the fact that this place is very close to the schools and you could have weirdos going in and out.

“I don’t think what they are doing there is illegal and if it was in a remote place it wouldn’t be so bad, but it’s very close to these schools.

“I believe the police know about it.”

Chirk South councillor Terry Evans said: “I must have had about six phone calls about this last week and three on Sunday.

“I have been in touch with the council’s public protection department and they say there is nothing illegal about it.

“It appears that everyone is avoiding the issue, but parents are up in arms at both schools.

“I can understand the real concerns they have.”

A spokesman for North Wales Police said: “We are aware of local concerns and are looking into the situation.”

A blog accessible through another of the websites, in the name of Miss Roxy, says: “I am no longer sessioning in My Chambers in North Wales.

“I've made the decision to find somewhere else, for personal reasons.

“I have been receiving a number of ludicrous emails (all at the same time, strangely enough!) and would like to take this opportunity to reiterate, for those that live in ignorance ... I do not provide a sexual service of any kind. I am a professional dominatrix and those that are less well educated do not seem to understand this!

“So now you know and maybe you won't be quite so confused.”

Both local schools refused to comment.

A spokesman for Wrexham Council said: “This is a police matter.”
