EMERGENCY services are attending a vehicle fire on the A483.
The police and fire service are on the scene of the incident, which is located at Junction 5 of the Gwersyllt Southbound carriageway.
John Phillips, Wrexham councillor for the Penycae Eitha ward took to social media to inform the public of the incident.
He posted: "Fire engine in attendance on the A483 Southbound just after the slip road by B&Q roundabout traffic building up."
Traffic Wales North and Mid have confirmed that both lanes of the carriageway are now open.
A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue, said: "We were called out at 11.20am to the A483 Wrexham.
"Two crews attended - the vehicle suffered 100 per cent damage to its engine and 25 per cent damage to its front."
