A SECTION of the M53 motorway by Ellesmere Port has been closed due to a vehicle fire.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service teams have been deployed to the incident, on the northbound carriageway by the Rivacre junction at junction 7.
The vehicle is parked on the hard shoulder and all traffic northbound has been stopped temporarily while the incident is being tackled.
