The remnants of Storm Dennis wreaked one last assault in Saltcoats on Saturday.
Strong winds dislodged masonry on the frontage of a disused shop in Dockhead Street in the town centre.
Fire crews shut a portion of the street whilst work to secure the remaining masonry continued.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 12.22pm on Saturday, February 22 to reports of dislodged masonry upon a derelict premises in Saltcoats. Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the town’s Dockhead Street, where firefighters worked to make the area safe. There were no casualties.”
