THOUSANDS of pumpkins are lining a field near Wrexham ready for Halloween.
Bellis Brothers farm shop and garden centre in Holt has become the home of a vast cornucopia of orange lanterns-to-be, not forgetting some tasty soup.
Bellis' pumpkin production line was planned meticulously in advance and marketing manager Lucy Stuchbury reveals 15,000 plants were deposited in two large fields with each plant yielding up to five fruit.
"It is quite a sight and is very popular with families," said Lucy. "It is the fourth year we've done the pick - last year we were running out of pumpkins the response was so good so that we've doubled the number this October."
