ALL of Sam Ricketts loan signings will be eligible to play for Wrexham in the FA Cup.

Seven players have joined on temporary deals with five - Rob Lainton, Rekeil Pyke, Stuart Beavon, Jordan Maguire-Drew and Freddy Hinds - staying at The Racecourse all season.

Midfielder Brad Walker and Scott Burgess are with the Reds until January but both are also available for Saturday's fourth qualifying round tie at National League rivals Harrogate Town, although Ricketts can only name five loanees in his matchday squad.

"I think we have got clearance to play everyone," said Ricketts.

"Everyone is ready to go, there are no restrictions on anyone who can and can't play so all looking good.

"Still only the five loans are allowed in the squad even though there are seven substitutes so unfortunately for the loan lads it always means that two have to miss out, but there's nothing we can do about that."

Ricketts will assess centre-back Jake Lawlor who limped off with an ankle injury in Saturday's 2-1 win at Dagenham and Redbridge.

"Jake will just be assessed this week," said Ricketts, who will also check on James Jennings and Chris Holroyd.

"It is nothing serious and I am sure if it was the play-off final this weekend, Jake would be fit.

"We will just have to gauge him this week and see how he progresses, and see is it worth taking a risk on him to possibly miss more games or maybe just miss one to make sure he is back for the week after."

Walker switched from midfield to centre-back when Lawlor limped off and Ricketts was impressed with his performance.

"I think it took him a few minutes to adjust to dropping back in there but you saw second half his composure and footballing ability came through, and also his ability to win aerial challenges as well," said Ricketts.

"He did very well."

Ricketts could also field first year pro Doug Tharme in defence if Lawlor misses out but Manny Smith is still recovering from a knee injury.

"Doug has done really well in the games he has played," added Ricketts. "A really good prospect.

"Manny is back on the treadmill running but still a long way off being ready to play matches."
