FOOD, drinks, and cookery advice was offered at a town’s renowned food festival this weekend.

Wrexham Food Festival gathered dozens of interested crowds for the weekend celebration of food, drink, and tasty appetizers.

More than 5,500 visitors went along to the event, which sold local produce including cheese, coffee, alcohol, chocolate, cakes and pork pies.

The food company added that sausage on a stick was a sell out, and other produce included cheese, coffee, chocolate, cakes and pork pies.

There was also an alcoholic bar for customers to sample some local ale.

A spokesman said: “Once you have been watered and fed, you can enjoy the amazing entertainment that is on offer at the festival.

"This entertainment includes music from local artists who will perform in the bandstand. There will also be a dance floor where the music and dancing will continue.

"On the entertainment list, there is also going to be food challenges where visitors can take part in challenges such as the chilli challenge. The Wrexham food festival is a perfect day out for all the family where there will be something for everyone’s taste.
