PUPILS at Ysgol Bryn Alyn have been showing off their new uniform.

Following on from consultation with parents, pupils and staff during last academic year, the new uniform has been introduced across years 7 to 10. All the pupils are now required to wear a white shirt, YBA tie and YBA branded grey blazer alongside their tailored trousers or knee length skirts, black socks and black or brown shoes.

Year 11 have a transition year and are looking very smart in their specifically designed year 11 tie, white shirt and V-necked black sweater. However, in the academic year 2019 to 2020, all pupils will be in the full school uniform.

Mrs Adele Slinn, headteacher at Bryn Alyn, said: "Our pupils can be clearly identified as Ysgol Bryn Alyn pupils and they are wearing their uniform with pride.

"Our parents have been very supportive in ensuring that their sons and daughters have been correctly attired for school. This is helping to further develop our community identity and motivate our pupils to ‘Dream, Reach, Achieve’ continuing to encourage every individual to take pride in themselves, their work and their school."

The school has received encouraging comments from both parents and members of the community. For the school this is yet another step on their improvement journey following on from a positive set of GCSE results in August.
