A MAN from Deeside has pleaded guilty to nine offences relating to the sexual grooming of a under-age schoolgirl.
Appearing at Mold Crown Court, Craig Tew, of Dodds Court, Shotton, admitted three counts of sexual communication with a child, four counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity including showing her breasts and penetration and two offences of attempting to meet a girl under 16 years of age following grooming.
All of the offences took place in October 2017. The first took place in Blackpool on October 28 and the second in Rochdale on the same day.
Tew, 42, also denied three other offences relating to the possession of indecent photographs and it was agreed by Judge Rhys Rowlands to allow these to lie on the file.
Judge Rowlands ordered a pre-sentence report and adjourned the case until October 8 when Tew will return to Mold Crown Court for sentencing.
Tew was released on bail on condition that he keeps an appointment with Probation Service staff.
