A CUTTING-EDGE fundraiser held at a Chester retirement complex has boosted two worthy causes.
The 'Brave the Shave' event took place in Abbotswood retirement living scheme in Northgate Avenue.
Alli Feay, her twin sister Becky and their dad Steve all shaved their hair in memory of their nan, and grandmother and everybody else who’s been effected by cancer.
Abbotswood's very own hairdresser Natalee Gina O' Brien offered to shave their heads for the charity day.
And bistro staff put together a buffet and got a local singer in for after entertainment.
Residents also got involved and put on a cake sale, along with a raffle.
A total of £2,915 was raised for Macmillan, while the family have also donated their hair to the Little Princess Trust.
