A DETERMINED young author with cerebral palsy has held a book signing at a Chester city centre tearoom and bookshop.
Alicia Gough held the event at Beatons Tearooms to mark her fantastic achievement of writing and getting published a book outlining the difficulties and strengths she has faced throughout her life, along with the sense of humour she has which has helped her on her journey.
The book looks at her life from childhood to the present day.
This in itself would be quite an achievement, but what makes it all the more remarkable is she wrote the book herself with the aid of an eye reader.
Alicia’s book, The Hand That Tells The Story, is on sale at Beatons Tearooms.
